A new composting facility at Upper House Farm, Moreton-on-Lugg will help reduce the road miles green garden waste collected in Herefordshire has to travel. Construction of the new facility is expected to start in early 2010. Click here for details, photos and plans.

 


EnviRecover - new Energy from Waste facilityEnviRecover - new Energy from Waste facility

The proposals are for a 15.5 MW renewable energy facility to be developed at the Hartlebury Trading Estate in Worcestershire. EnviRecover would recover energy from 200,000 tonnes of residual municipal waste generated in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Click here for details.
