Issue No.11: Update on construction mobilisation of EnviRecover
During week commencing 16th March 2015, the first of two tower cranes to be used to distribute materials across the construction site will be erected.
The first crane is specifically required to service the major concrete ‘slip forming’ operation that will take place in April, to construct major concrete walls around the waste bunker area of the plant. Slip forming enables this
work to be carried out in the shortest possible time. In preparation for the slip forming works, the contractor has been granted approval by Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) to undertake low impact activities on site 24 hours per day x 7 days per week. In recent weeks the contractor has been able to work until 2.00 am. WRS are continuing to monitor the works. If you have any queries, please address them to Envirecover@severnwaste.co.uk
