Who We Are
Severn Waste Services is the public face of municipal waste management in Worcestershire and Herefordshire, operating facilities for its sister company, Mercia Waste Management.
Composting
Severn Waste Services has been composting green garden waste since the early 1990’s. The resultant product is a composted soil conditioner marketed under the brand name ‘Greengrow®’.
What can I recycle?
This section lists the materials that can be recycled through kerbside collection and the EnviroSort plant if you are on a wheeled bin collection.
Envirosort
The EnviroSort plant receives, sorts and despatches all the clean recyclables collected from households across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, that is, all the cans, glass and plastic bottles, paper and light card put out for kerbside collection.
