Keeping in Touch

Keeping in Touch

The Company is keen to keep in touch with the local community around its main facilities. We have established Community Liaison Groups (CLGs) focussed on our Hill & Moor Landfill and on the EnviroSort Comingled Materials Reclamation Facility, and of course our web site provides information and signposts for all matters relating to municipal waste management in the two Counties that we serve.

For the development of EnviRecover, we are providing:

  • Regular updates on the construction and commissioning progress through the web site.
  • A Community Liaison Group, with community representation from the local Parish Councils, and District and County local Council members. The CLG will also involve participation from key authority regulators such as the Environment Agency and Worcestershire Regulatory Services.
  • A dedicated email address for members of the public to ask questions about the development.
  • A visual record of progress on site though time-lapse photography. The time-lapse sequence – with photographs of the site taken every 15 minutes - will be edited into a video and uploaded onto the web site, to show progress on site up to the end of the preceding week.

We would encourage members of the public to raise any concerns via their local Parish/District/County Councillor, or otherwise through direct email to us at enquiries@severnwaste.co.uk
